Freshmen: Find a poem you have read in the past, that has had a significant impact on you (either positive or negative). Print out a copy of that poem and write a response to the poem, reflecting on the following questions:
What do you notice about the writing style, word choices, or other poetic patterns?
Whatemotional impact or power does the poem have? You can consider its mood, tone, or other "intangible" qualities you observe.
